Job Title: NP or PA Wound Care - Wound Certified

Job Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with complex wound care needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on best practices and certified wound care protocols.
Provide hands-on wound care management including dressing changes, debridement, and application of advanced wound care products.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and their families on wound care practices, preventive measures, and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment efficacy in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with wound care advancements and technology.
Assist in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes in wound care.
Essential Qualifications:
Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
Wound Care Certification required.
Active state licensure to practice within the specified region of Orange County.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills related to wound care.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and healthcare staff.
Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement.
Desired Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on wound care preferred.
Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation.
Previous involvement in patient education programs and community outreach is a plus.
